South Carolina Equine Park
South Carolina Equine Park is a 60-acre, non-profit horse show and event facility established in 2009 and managed by the SC Equine Promotion Foundation (SCEPF). Originally built in 1981 and privately owned, the Park was purchased by Kershaw County through grants and is leased to SCEPF.
The Foundation was formed in late 2007 to promote equine-related sports and education, and to provide sustainable economic growth. The equine industry contributes nearly $2 billion annually to the state's economy. The Equine Park is a significant contributor to this economic impact, as it hosts 35+ equestrian events annually and brings more than 25,000 people and $10–12 million into our community each year.
The campus includes 9 barns, 288 stalls, 5 show rings, cattle pens, RV parking, café, pavilion and more. The Park is supported by private donations, grants and public funds. It is not state funded. Your support is welcome and appreciated.
