The Barns on the Tour
Springdale Training Center
Home to the Carolina and Colonial Cup steeplechase races, STC is the state's premier destination for flat and steeplechase training. Springdale can accommodate up to 150 horses in numerous barns within its 450-acre campus. Here, professional equine horsemen train elite Thoroughbreds specifically for steeplechase racing such as the upcoming Colonial Cup and flat track racing such as the Kentucky Derby. You may glimpse future winners in today's tour!
Knights Hill Plantation
Owned by Scott and Susan Griffin. This barn was built in 1807 near Columbus, OH, disassembled in 2023 and rebuilt here in Camden. Today it stands as a testament to the Griffins' efforts to revive the Southern quail hunt. Half the barn belongs to the Tennessee Walking Horse, whose running walk is smooth and made for long days in the saddle. The other half belongs to the pointing dog — bred to hunt hard and stop cold. Together they can cover a thousand acres and make it look easy. Learn more about efforts to restore the quail hunting tradition at TallTimbers.org.
TallTimbers.orgFinally Farm
Owned by Jack and Lisa Towell. A full-service, family-owned stable that trains horses and riders for hunter, jumper and equitation — the three main divisions of a horse show. Since 1989, Finally Farm riders and horses have won numerous Horse of the Year titles, Grand Prix events and Hunter Championships. Home of Brunello, three-time consecutive winner of the International Derby Finals. Exhibit on Brunello at The Camden Archives.

The campus includes 9 barns, 288 stalls, 5 show rings, cattle pens, RV parking, café, pavilion and more.
